Missy Manipulates Her Way To A Hideous Tattoo In Clip From Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Cooper Reunion Episode😍
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage episode 5 clip reveals how Missy manipulates her way into getting a hideous tattoo. Sheldon’s twin sister already returned earlier in the sequel, as she called her brother for help about getting in trouble at school. Her story in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is a continuation of her unfinished storyline in the Young Sheldon finale, which left her still grieving over the loss of her father. Now, Missy is set to make another appearance, joining Mary, Meemaw, and Dale to spend Thanksgiving with the McAllisters.
In a new clip from Young Sheldon‘s official Instagram account, Missy is seen manipulating Mandy into coming with her to get a tattoo in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage episode 5, “Thanksgiving.” This is in exchange for her coming with the Coopers to spend the holiday with her family across town. Ultimately, Mandy is persuaded, but Missy ultimately regrets her decision. Watch the hilarious clip below:
First Marriage Needs To Further Develop Missy’s & Mandy’s Relationship
Missy Didn’t Have Any Female Relationships In Young Sheldon
When Mandy was first introduced in Young Sheldon, Missy developed an immediate adoration for her. It was likely because she didn’t have any sisters, and her relationship with her mother wasn’t the best. Unfortunately, after tackling this in one episode, the prequel never properly revisited it. Mandy did try to offer some emotional support on the heels of George’s unexpected death in Young Sheldon, but it was too brief to amount to anything. While Missy isn’t a series regular in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, her recurring guest star status would allow the sequel to remedy this.
While much has been said about Georgie and Missy’s dynamic, it’s important that George and Mary’s only daughter foster healthy female relationships in her life. Young Sheldon didn’t give her good friends since most were bad influences. She had a genuine connection with Paige, but that also didn’t go anywhere. Mandy, acting like a big sister and a friend, can help her overcome this difficult point in her life. Meanwhile, spending time with her sister-in-law can help Mandy expand her social circle without being judged, like what happened in “Todd’s Mom.”
Our Take On Missy’s Future In Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage
Missy’s New Story Can Set Up Her The Big Bang Theory Future
It’s no secret that Young Sheldon underutilized Missy. While the rest of the Cooper family got their respective compelling arcs, she was constantly ignored and cast aside. Admittedly, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage can’t really make up for that, given her limited involvement, but if the new show gives her good storylines every single time she appears, then it could at least offset some of the transgressions of The Big Bang Theory prequel. Coming back to Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage in the future can also properly pave Miss’s path to her eventual future in the nerd-centric sitcom.
